Owner/operator Salvador Domingo was defended by Brian H. Buddell in a multi-vehicle pile-up on Highway 37 near Vallejo, California. Plaintiff and his wife alleged serious personal injuries which they claimed were caused by Mr. Domingo and the other co-defendant, when Domingo failed to properly park his semi on the shoulder of the roadway. After six days of trial, Judge Franklin L. Taft granted a motion for nonsuit filed by Brian H. Buddell on behalf of Mr. Domingo. The jury later awarded $95,000 dollars against the remaining defendant.
