San Francisco Municipal Railway ("MUNI"), after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident involving a MUNI bus and a taxi cab, sought representation from Brian H. Buddell. Plaintiff, a seamstress, was a passenger on the MUNI bus and alleged injuries to her upper extremities when she was thrown to the floor when the two vehicles collided. She claimed over $50,000 dollars in damages consisting including her medical damages and lost wages. After a five-day trial and a half-day of deliberations, the jury returned a complete defense verdict for MUNI and a $25,000 verdict against the taxi company.
