ADK Permit Company was represented by Brian H. Buddell after a truck operated by plaintiff's insured, Keep On Trucking, Inc., struck an overpass while carrying an oversized load on Highway 238 in near Fremont, California under a permit obtained by ADK Permit Company. Plaintiff alleged that ADK Permit Company negligently researched the route of travel, obtained an improper permit and claimed damages in excess of $400,000. After a four-day trial, the jury deliberated for 1 1/2 hours and returned a complete defense verdict for ADK Permit Company.
