Plaintiff, who sustained permanent nerve damage as the result of oral surgery, claimed that his oral surgeon had been negligent and had failed to properly advise him about the risks of surgery.
Plaintiff's original demand was for $290,000.
During a five-day trial, defense counsel James Parker convinced the jury that plaintiff had been advised about the risks associated with the procedure and that all the techniques used during surgery had been proper, resulting in a verdict for the defense.
