Plaintiff contended that his oral surgeon, who he consulted for a painful wisdom tooth, should not have extracted other teeth and replaced them with a set of dentures.
Defense counsel James Parker showed that based on the clinical and radiographic evidence, the plaintiff had advanced gum disease and bone loss, leading to the reasonable conclusion that the teeth could not be saved.
Plaintiff had been seeking $250,000.
After a six-day trial, the jury ruled for the defense.
