Plaintiff, who had all her teeth extracted and dentures provided by defendant, claimed that her teeth could have been saved, her dentures were improperly fitted, and that the defendant had defrauded her.
Defense counsel James Parker argued that the extractions were justified based on the radiographic and clinical findings and that the dentures could have been fitted properly if plaintiff had remained in treatment.
A nonsuit was granted on the fraud count and the jury awarded plaintiff only $5,000.
