John Brydon represented the plaintiff who had sustained major injuries and been unable to work after being run over by a municipal transit bus.
The jury agreed with Mr. Brydon that it was the bus driver's responsibility to check for the plaintiff before pulling away from the stop, although the plaintiff shared some responsibility because he was intoxicated at the time.
Plaintiff's had offered to settle the case for less than $100,000, but defendant's counsel had refused to negotiate.
