Ed Hugo was among the distinguished faculty for the 6th National Conference on Litigating, Settling and Managing Asbestos Claims, sponsored by the American Conference Institute on April 5th and 6th in Chicago.

Mr. Hugo’s topic was "Evolving Causation Theories for Low-Dose Exposure Claims", which covered the legal standards for causation related to asbestos litigation. He provided detailed information on how different varieties of asbestos products react, how exposure to products is linked to disease, what the standards of causation are at the state level, and a legal analysis of illnesses and laws state by state.

The conference was attended by attorneys specializing in Asbestos and Products Liability, in-house counsel for insurers, automotive industry companies, and insurance companies.
