Brian H. Buddell is a Partner of Brydon Hugo & Parker.    He joined the firm in April 2005 after serving as Trial Counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company's San Francisco Litigation Department for eight years.    Mr. Buddell has extensive experience in several areas of civil defense including: Truck/Auto Casualty Claims, Product Liability, Catastrophic Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Toxic Torts, Wrongful Death and Insurance Coverage.

Throughout his career, Mr. Buddell has represented a variety of commercial trucking companies ranging from individual owner/operators to national carriers.   He has successfully defended hundreds of arbitrations and dozens of trials throughout twenty-five of California's fifty-eight county Superior Courts and appeals in the California Court of Appeal and California Supreme Court.   A representative sample of Mr. Buddell's clients have included:  United Parcel Service, Covenant Transport, Mission Linen Supply and Cal Cargo.

Mr. Buddell is licensed to practice in all California State Courts, the Northern District of the United States District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.   He received his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley in 1990.   He then attended Golden Gate University School of Law where he was a selected member of the Mock Trial Team during both his second and third years.   During that time, he also worked as a Certified Clerk for the San Francisco City Attorney and received his Juris Doctorate in 1993.
