Thomas J. Moses is Senior Counsel for Brydon Hugo & Parker.

Thomas J. Moses, senior counsel with the Firm, has been involved in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation throughout his career. From 1984 to 1992, he worked for Demler, Armstrong & Rowland, a Long Beach, California insurance defense firm, where he represented various insurance carriers in defending first- and third-party bad faith cases. Thereafter, he was in-house counsel for two major property/casualty insurers. Mr. Moses served as Extra-Contractual Claims Attorney for TIG Insurance Company, a major commercial/personal lines insurer based in Texas. At TIG, he managed and resolved complex and significant bad faith suits in all 50 states. He also was National Claims Counsel for XL Winterthur Insurance Company, an international property/casualty/excess carrier, and provided in-house coverage advice with regard to claims presented under various primary and excess insurance policies. Mr. Moses previously taught Insurance Law at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law, teaching Insurance Law. Mr. Moses is licensed to practice law in California and Texas.
