PEGAH SHETABI
Senior Counsel
Pegah Shetabi is senior counsel with the firm whose practice focuses on the areas products liability, toxic torts and general defense litigation.
She has represented numerous clients involved in products liability asbestos lawsuits, including premise owners, suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers and distributors of automobiles, valves, clutches, gaskets, turbines, pumps, boilers, heaters, condensers, economizers, raw fiber, flooring, and construction accessory products.
In addition to litigating matters involving products liability and toxic torts, Ms. Shetabi has litigated matters involving construction defect, commercial contracts, personal injury, and employment law.
Ms. Shetabi earned her Bachelor's Degree from Barnard College (of Columbia University) with a major in Political Science, and her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.
While in law school, Pegah was a judicial extern to the Honorable James R. Lambden of the California Courts of Appeal, 1st Appellate District.
During her undergraduate studies, she was a research assistant at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, whose work was presented at the annual WHO Expert Committee Meeting and was later published by Social Science & Medicine.
Ms. Shetabi is admitted to practice before all California courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She is also is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
