Karleen F. Murphy is a Partner who focuses on defense of product liability claims.   She also has experience in the areas of premises liability, employment law, environmental law, general tort claims and commercial litigation matters.

Ms. Murphy earned her B.A. in English from University of Washington in 1994 with honors from Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1998. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1998 and the New York Bar in 2002.  

While at Golden Gate, Ms. Murphy was the Senior Editor for the Law Review, Notes and Comments Journal.   In addition, she earned the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Civil Procedure II, the CALI Award for Excellent Achievement in Remedies and made the National Dean's List and Golden Gate University Dean's List.   She published an issue comment, A Hearsay Exception for Physical Abuse, 27 G.G.L.Rev. 497.
